Benefits of Attending Baby College Print E-mail

Baby interested in colourful toy crocodileIncreasing confidence – For you in your role as a parent and for your baby in relationships, surroundings and experiences.

Independence – Your baby will be learning and feel more confident about socialising, trying new experiences, being away from you (but in same room). A strong attachment with you is key to greater confidence and independence later. The collective response of all parents (in exercises such as parachute) is vital and encourages trust.

Development - With your pro-active involvement BABY COLLEGE® activities and ideas are designed to help your baby achieve their own full potential (each baby will be different!). Your baby’s developmental experience (physical, neurological, cognitive and language) will have been enriched and supported with your help meaning they will be ready to learn at school. For your benefit we cover many many different, interesting and relevant development topics each term and offer answers to any questions you may have about how your baby is developing.

Bonding – Your relationship will be boosted giving you both more confidence and a closer attachment. Getting to know each other and activities like signing reduce the frustrations of communication meaning you and your baby can begin to understand each other sooner.

Good learning habits – Opportunities to learn fundamental concepts, improve attention span, start to enjoy learning through play, practice listening, take turns, build on self esteem.

Having fun and making friends – With us, with each other and with your baby...
